Beers

Light to medium-bodied, mostly cooked-and-bottled (no distillation).

  • Wheatbeer — the basic German-style wheat beer; fast brew, low alcohol
  • Beer — the standard pale beer; vanilla brewing kit foundation
  • Darkbeer — roasted, deeper, oak-aged
  • Hopwood IPA — hoppy, bitter, longer aging for the double IPA quality
  • Farmhouse Saison — French saison style, slightly funky finish
  • Coal Miner's Lager — themed lager, lower-tier brew, sells well in mining communities
  • Iron Throne Ale — themed strong ale, longer aging for "Iron Throne Reserve"

Wines

Aged longer than beers; quality scales heavily with aging duration.

  • Red Wine — classic
  • White Wine — dry, golden when high quality

Meads & Ciders

Honey- and apple-based, lighter than beer in alcohol but distinct flavor profiles.

Whiskeys & dark spirits

Heavy, distilled, long aging. Most need 3+ distillation runs and 10+ years aging.

  • Rye Whiskey — sharp, drier than bourbon

Light spirits

Distilled but lighter — cleaner profiles.

How to discover a recipe

Brewing rewards experimentation. Some recipes you'll learn from books and signs at tavern builds. Some you'll find by trying combinations and noticing what comes out.

For known recipes, in-game /brew recipes lists everything you've discovered or that has been published.

Selling tips

  • Beers and meads — high-volume, low-margin. Sell stacks.
  • Wines — mid-tier; reserve qualities sell well to collectors.
  • Spirits — low-volume, high-margin. Long aging means low supply.
  • Signatures (Reserve grade) — premium showcase items.
  • Non-alcoholic — niche but steady. Hangover tea is always wanted.
