Enchantments

80+ custom enchantments on top of vanilla — combat, utility, traversal, plus signature enchants you won't find anywhere else.

Vanilla Minecraft has about 40 enchantments. Sunday Market adds 80+ on top — combat enchants, tool enchants, armor enchants, ranged enchants, plus a handful of curses and a signature unique to this server. They appear in enchanting tables alongside vanilla enchants, drop from structure loot, and trade with master-tier librarians.

Enchanting on Sunday Market is much deeper than vanilla. A single sword can carry vanilla Sharpness, a custom bonus-damage enchant, and a status-effect enchant simultaneously.

What this section covers

  • Last Call — the signature: harder swings when bloodied
  • Tools — vein mining, auto-pickup, mending+, smelting touch
  • Weapons — lifesteal, first-strike, status effects
  • Armor — set bonuses, defensive boosts, low-HP escape
  • Ranged — bows, crossbows, tridents, fishing rods
  • Curses — for trading and trolling
  • How to get them — enchant table, structure loot, librarian trades, anvil-combine

Rarity tiers

Custom enchantments come in tiers similar to vanilla:

  • Common — cheap to roll, often appear at low enchant table levels
  • Uncommon — solid utility; level 15+ enchant table
  • Rare — good roll at high-level table, more often from structure loot
  • Epic — premium tier; signature enchants live here
  • Mythic — top-tier; very rare, often boss-drop or top-tier loot

Higher rarity = harder to acquire, generally more impactful.

How they stack with vanilla

Custom enchantments coexist with vanilla enchantments. A sword can carry:

  • Vanilla Sharpness V
  • Custom Last Call III
  • Custom First Strike II

…all at once, no conflict. Some pairs do conflict (e.g., two bonus-damage enchants from the same family) — the enchanting table will only roll non-conflicting combinations on a given item.

Anvil combine works

Most custom enchanted books combine in the anvil like vanilla books do. Two Last Call I books → one Last Call II book. A Last Call II book + a sword → a sword with Last Call II.

The XP cost on combines is similar to vanilla. Mending and the Repairing custom enchant both apply to anvil-repair logic.

Soulbound

A few items can be made Soulbound — they don't drop on death. This protects irreplaceable enchanted items. The Soulbound enchant is rare; combining Soulbound onto a tier-1 enchanted weapon turns it into a real heirloom.

Why so many?

Custom enchantments deepen the game without breaking vanilla. Vanilla Sharpness V is fun for a session, then it's the ceiling. Sunday Market's depth means you're still discovering combinations 200 hours in — a Last Call + Lifesteal + First Strike sword plays differently from a Sharpness + Looting + Sweeping Edge sword.

This is the "vanilla deepened, not replaced" principle. Vanilla enchants still work, still matter, still are the foundation. Custom enchants add choices on top.

Discovery is part of the system

We deliberately don't list every enchantment in a giant table. Some you'll find naturally — the first time a Telekinesis pickaxe drops a chest's worth of mining loot straight into your inventory, you'll notice. The first time a Lifesteal sword keeps you alive against a hard mob, you'll wonder how it works.

The pages in this section list the most popular enchantments by category and the ones with significant gameplay implications. The full set lives in the world for you to find.
