Progression
What unlocks at each rank, how auto-promotion fires, and what to expect at each tier.
Promotion is automatic — there's no application, no purchase, no staff request. Cross the hours threshold and the system promotes you within 15 minutes.
How auto-promotion works
The promotion system runs a check every 15 minutes. On each check, it looks at your tracked playtime and your current rank. If you've crossed the next threshold, it:
- Promotes you in the permission system
- Plays a level-up sound for you
- Sends you a chat message:
■ You reached <rank>. <description>. - Broadcasts to the whole server:
■ <player> reached <rank>
Playtime is tracked while you're online and active — AFK time still counts (the server doesn't auto-kick AFK players). The check fires for everyone online, every 15 minutes; if you crossed mid-session, you'll see the promotion fire on the next check.
If you crossed the threshold while offline, the promotion fires the next time you log in (during the first check after).
Visitor (default — 0 hours)
What you get on first join:
- The welcome kit and book
/balance,/pay,/msg,/r,/list,/wiki,/info,/rules,/profile,/top/backpack— 27 slots (3 rows)/vault— 1 vault, 27 slots/enderchest— 27 slots (3 rows)- A recovery chest at your death spot (5-min window, max 3 active)
- 1 chest-shop slot
- Custom nickname (
/nick)
Everything you need to learn the game. Spawn-camping a new tier is the wrong reason to play; rank up by playing.
Member (20 hours)
What you gain:
- Backpack expands to 36 slots (4 rows)
- Vaults expand to 3 vaults × 36 slots (108 total)
- Ender chest expands to 36 slots (4 rows)
- Recovery chest window expands to 10 minutes, max 5 active
- Shop slots: 3
Member is the "you've shown up" tier. Storage gets a real bump, the recovery window doubles, you can run more shops. The economy starts to actually breathe at this point — three shop slots is enough to specialize.
Citizen (100 hours)
What you gain:
- Backpack expands to 45 slots (5 rows)
- Vaults expand to 6 vaults × 45 slots (270 total)
- Ender chest expands to 45 slots (5 rows)
- Recovery chest window expands to 15 minutes (max 5 active)
- Shop slots: 6
Citizen is the "established player" tier — you're past the entry curve, you have enough storage to organize, enough shop slots to run a small storefront.
Myth (500 hours)
What you gain:
- Backpack expands to 54 slots (6 rows — the cap)
- Vaults expand to 9 vaults × 54 slots (486 total)
- Ender chest stays at 5 rows
- Recovery chest window expands to 30 minutes (max 7 active)
- Shop slots: 12
Myth is the veteran tier. Backpack hits its cap. Vaults push close to a full chest grid. You've earned enough storage to run a serious operation.
Legend (1,000 hours — the cap)
What you gain:
- Vaults expand to 15 vaults × 54 slots (810 total — over 30 double chests of slot count)
- Ender chest expands to 54 slots (6 rows — the cap)
- Recovery chest window expands to 60 minutes (max 10 active)
- Shop slots: 25
- Painting/terraforming brush tool — normally staff-only, gifted to Legends as a building tool
Legend is the cap. Past 1,000 hours, you stop accumulating new perks and start being recognized as a long-time pillar of the community. Some servers keep adding ever-higher tiers; we don't, on purpose. Above this you're playing because you love the place, not because the next tier is dangling.

Why time, not money
Other servers sell ranks for cash. We don't. Time-based ranks reward people who actually play — your hours mean you've contributed to the community, your hours mean you've built things, your hours mean other players know you. Selling that signal would devalue every player who earned it the slow way.
There is no donation path to skip the climb. There never will be.
