Rules

18+ open-survival server. Light rules, hard enforcement on jerks. Don't grief, don't slur, don't cheat.

Sunday Market is 18+ open survival. The rules are short because we trust adults to behave like adults — but the few we have, we mean. Repeat offenders get banned. We'd rather have a smaller, friendlier community than a bigger, tolerant-of-toxicity one.

The five-second rule version

  1. Don't grief or steal.
  2. Don't impersonate staff.
  3. PvP only with consent or in opt-in zones.
  4. No cheats, no exploits.
  5. 18+ chat is fine — slurs and doxxing aren't.

That's it. Read it, internalize it, play.

What 18+ actually means

We don't pre-filter language or topics. Adults can talk like adults. The community has a generally relaxed tone — swearing happens, blue humor happens, real-world topics come up. None of that is against the rules.

What IS against the rules:

  • Slurs — racial, homophobic, transphobic, etc. Hard line.
  • Sexual content involving minors — instant permanent ban
  • Doxxing or harassment — sharing real-world info about someone, repeated targeted aggression
  • Impersonation — pretending to be staff or another specific player

The line: rough adult conversation is welcome. Targeted harm is not.

This is a rough guide, not a strict ladder. Staff has discretion based on context and intent.

Appeals

If you think a punishment was wrong, file an appeal in the format described on Staff & reports. Staff reviews appeals; sometimes punishments are reversed, sometimes not. Either way, you'll get a clear answer.

Why we keep rules short

Long rule lists encourage rules-lawyering and create gray areas. Short rules encourage common sense. "Don't be a jerk" covers more than a 50-page legal document, and adults can interpret it.

The longer rule pages exist for clarification when "common sense" isn't enough — what counts as griefing, where PvP is allowed, etc. They're explanations, not loopholes.
